Front fender was falling off one bike (Anna's, the sleeping beauty)
So Robert took off the front rack (that bike had one; none of the others did)
And he then used the too-long bolt from the rack for the fender, which, of course, protruded into the spokes of the front wheel...
He "had to get back" to the shop
We told him we would try to fix it
Blah blah blah
Wish we had tools
Borrowed a pipe clamp from the rental shop here, a shot of WD-40, and some elbow grease and a Leatherman and...we got the too-long, bent, broken bad boy bolt out...
